Another day, another damaging report about Urban Meyer’s reputation.

The Jacksonville Jaguars coach was fending off reports that he’d gotten in a heated argument with a wide receiver as well as confronted his assistant coaches, calling them losers and forcing them to defend their resumes. While he only denied some of that, and owner Shad Khan hoped to downplay the impact of this and other issues surrounding Meyer, it was later said that what we’ve heard about the head coach’s bad habits was “just the tip of the iceberg.”

So when the Tampa Bay Times reported on Wednesday that former Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo said Meyer kicked him and cursed him out during warmups, NFL fans collectively thought, ‘Yeah, sounds about right.’

The general opinion on Meyer is that he should either quit or that Khan should fire him. And this is before we even get into the ways that he seems to undermine his own players or lacks the awareness of how often they’re playing. The guy absolutely seems miserable and unable to handle working with professionals instead of college athletes he can push around.

We’ll see how it eventually all ends up, but in the meantime, football fans on social media are having a field day with Meyer. Not only are they wondering what would make him think this was okay, but what kind of person feels like that is a way to motivate your employees?

Jokes aside, it feels like the walls are closing in on Meyer in Jacksonville and it’s only a matter of time before the juice is no longer the squeeze, if it ever was.
