Check out Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman from ‘Batman v. Superman’

We’ve already seen images of Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman from 2016’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

But other superheroes will appear in the movie (which may or may not be cameos) as Warner Brothers lays the foundation for its “Justice League” franchise. Most prominent among those is Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot (best known for her roles in the “Fast and Furious” movies).

With Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend, WB was almost certain to throw some red meat to the fans and release an image of Gadot as the Amazon princess. Indeed, here is the first look at Gadot in costume.

Perhaps it shouldn’t be a surprise that Wonder Woman looks like part of a “300” movie, considering that was the breakthrough film for Batman v. Superman director Zach Snyder.

There’s a little bit of “Xena: Warrior Princess” to this look, probably a better way to go than the red, white, blue and gold color scheme from the comics. I expected the design to show less skin, since it’s presumably supposed to be armor. But maybe this isn’t the only outfit Wonder Woman wears in these movies.
