Rob Gronkowski is forever a jokester. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame has never been shy about being himself and for the most part, it’s been harmless.
On Fox NFL Sunday, Gronk made an appearance in a segment led by Charissa Thompson. The segment, ‘Glass Half Full or Half Empty,’ discussed a variety of topics and teams. The segment led to a focus on New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.
Wilson has had a hard time in his second year. He’s battled injury and poor play and has recently come under scrutiny. Opinions of him are circling around the league and his peers. The team has made some noise this year and has done so in dramatic ways. But Wilson’s play has caused some restlessness. So, it’s worth questioning whether it is “half empty” or “half full” for the Jets.
Take it away, Gronk…

“I’m gonna go half-full. As long as they can get their QB’s head in the playbook instead of outside at parent-teacher conferences,” joked Gronk. Of course, it doesn’t take too much to wonder what he was referring to. Thompson almost immediately recognized it in fact. Hilariously enough.
Reactions poured in after Gronk’s zinger, predictably so.
