Geddert was charged with 20 counts of human trafficking and forced labor resulting in injury, one count of racketeering, two counts of criminal sexual conduct and one count of lying to police.
In an open letter, the USOC CEO promised gymnasts it wouldn't affect their status.
Penny allegedly ordered documents on Nassar's treatment of gymnasts in Texas sent to his office in Indianapolis. The documents have not been recovered.
Gymnasts continued to be treated and abused by Nassar in the interim.

McKayla Maroney says her abuse continued up to and through the 2012 Olympics in London.
